Research Matters is a popular science magazine in India. I cover science news and recent scientific papers published by Indian researchers. A few of my past pieces:

SCIENCE PODCAST HOST AT RESEARCH MATTERS
I was the podcast host of three series:
1. Joy Of Science - a show where I asked basic research questions to scientists across India. I designed
the podcast and it was being published under Research Matters.
2. Weekly Round up - a weekly episode explaining five recent scientific papers published by Indian scientists.
3. Nobel Prize series podcast - 2019 and 2020 - a short series explaining the research behind each of the Nobel prizes in STEM.

I am the social media manager at TheLifeOfScience.com It is a feminist Indian science media portal with a focus on women and minorities in STEM.
Responsibilities include managing and posting on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter, and organising fundraising drives through Linktree, Patreon and Instamojo.

As the web editor, I take care of the SEO analysis of articles before publishing as well as final edits. I assist the web developer in WordPress tasks and create social media content for each article.
SOCIAL MEDIA MANAGER FOR HOSPITALS
May 6 2020 - Present
As the social media manager for two hospitals - Nethra Eye Hospital, Bangalore and Dentaline Dental Clinic, Bangalore, I handle their Facebook and Instagram pages. I create and edit videos on informative public eye health topics such as digital eye strain and cataract awareness for Nethra Eye Hospital’s YouTube channel. I also create a trivia series for both hospitals and have conducted outreach programs for schools in both hospitals.
The clinic also has a prosthetics manufacturing business - 3DentDDS - for which I am the social media manager as well.

As a journalist at Brown Girl Mag, an international media portal based in the US, I write and edit op-editorial pieces on Indian culture. Through this, I have experience in working with freelance writers and managing a team. A few of my published works:

FREELANCE ENGLISH TEACHER
I have taught English to students from Class 5 to Class 12. I also conducted group poetry workshops and creative writing sessions for high school students. I taught a mini-course on academic writing to postgraduate students.
